COVID-19 UPDATE; additional positive tests in Curry and Roosevelt Counties

SANTA FE (KSMX)- New Mexico state health officials on Thursday announced 198 additional positive tests for COVID-19 including 4 new cases in Curry County and 1 in Roosevelt County.

Roosevelt County has tested 287 individuals whereas Clovis has seen 608 tests.

The Department of Health on Saturday also reported nine additional deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19 bringing the total number of deaths to 93. As of today, there are 172 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 and 760 COVID-19 cases designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.

Including the above newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 3,411 positive tests for COVID-19:

County totals are subject to change upon further investigation and determination of residency of individuals positive for COVID-19.
