COVID-19 UPDATE: Additional case in Roosevelt County

SANTA FE (KSMX)- New Mexico state health officials on Sunday announced 118 additional positive tests for COVID-19 bringing the total case count in the state to 3,850. Per the state Department of Health, the most recent cases are:

  • 37 new cases in Bernalillo County
  • 5 new cases in Cibola County
  • 6 new cases in Doña Ana County
  • 1 new case in Grant County
  • 1 new case in Guadalupe County
  • 1 new case in Luna County
  • 28 new cases in McKinley County
  • 2 new cases in Rio Arriba County
  • 1 new case in Roosevelt County
  • 6 new cases in Sandoval County
  • 26 new cases in San Juan County
  • 2 new cases in Socorro County
  • 1 new case Taos County
  • 1 new case in Valencia

The Department of Health on Sunday also reported twelve additional deaths in New Mexico related to COVID-19. The number of deaths of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 151. As of today, there are 164 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19 and 832 COVID-19 cases designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.

Previously reported numbers included one case from McKinley County that was a duplicate – the error has been corrected. Including the above newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 3,850 positive tests for COVID-19:
