COVID-19 CASES CONTINUE TO TREND DOWNWARD IN NEW MEXICO
The New Mexico Department of Health released COVID-19 numbers for Tuesday, reporting 69 new confirmed cases and three additional deaths. The latest numbers increase the state’s total to 24,535 cases and 750 deaths. Five additional cases were reported for Curry County, bringing the total in the county to 645 cases. Roosevelt County again counted no new cases, continuing its total of 191 cases. Under the Current Public Health order, which expires Friday, businesses are required to operate at 25% capacity, and indoor dining is currently banned at restaurants. So far, New Mexico has met the gating criteria that state set for reopenings.
