COVID-19 CASE COUNT FOR WEDNESDAY

The New Mexico Department of Health announced Wednesday an additional 200 COVID-19 cases. Three additional deaths related to COVID-19 were also reported. In Curry County, 15 cases were reported, with five new cases in Roosevelt County. Regionally, Chaves County reported 22 new cases, 22 in Eddy County, nine in Lea and one in Quay.
As of today, there are 72 individuals hospitalized in New Mexico for COVID-19. This number may include individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of state but are currently hospitalized in New Mexico. This number does not include New Mexicans who tested positive for COVID-19 and may have been transferred to a hospital out of state.
As of today, there are 15,669 COVID-19 cases designated as having recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health.
Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham will be addressing New Mexico today at 3 pm to provide an update on the state’s efforts with COVID-19.
