County Manager Pyle appoints two assistant County Managers

County Manager Pyle has appointed County Public Services Director Ben Roberts to the position of Assistant County Manager for Operations. Mr. Roberts holds a bachelor’s degree from Wayland Baptist University where he majored in Business Administration. He has been employed with Curry County for over 14 years, starting his career in the Assessor’s Office and most recently serving the past 5 years as the Public Services Director. He has been instrumental in overseeing and managing the recent construction projects for the County to include the Fairgrounds, Detention Center, and Courthouse. Through his efforts, he has developed strong partnerships with State agencies to successfully obtain additional funding for infrastructure projects to reduce costs to the County’s general fund, thus saving local tax dollars. His experience and dedication, working collectively with other County staff, have helped to ensure that Curry County continues to be a model across the State.
Pyle has also appointed County Finance Director Troy Hall as Assistant County Manager for Administrative and Financial Services. Mr. Hall holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Accounting.
He began his career at the County as a college intern and advanced through numerous financial positions within the department. He has been employed with Curry County for over 10 years and most recently serving the past 5 years as the County Finance Director. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in strengthening the County’s financial position, helping
grow cash reserves while maintaining a stable Aa3 bond rating. Under his leadership, the County has also received an Audit and Accountability Award, reflecting the County’s sound financial management.
