Community hopes to stop closing of department store
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Earlier this month Dillard’s department store announced that they will be closing its North Plains Mall location. However, community members refuse to allow that to happen.
The Clovis/Curry Chamber of Commerce has organized a way for community members to express their feelings about this news and hopefully lead to a way to “save the department store”.
“Let’s band together and let the Dillard’s powers know how much we need their store. Please email a letter to SaveDillards@clovisnm.org and it will reach a number of Dillard’s leaders.”
Dillard’s temporarily closed all 285 of its stores across the country at some point during the pandemic.
