COMMISSIONERS DETERMINE STATUS OF EVENTS CENTER, FAIRGROUND
During their meeting Tuesday, Curry County Commissioners officially made the announcement that the Curry County Events Center and fairground would remain closed through February. The center and fairgrounds have been closed since mid-March, at the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic outbreak. According to County Manager Lance Pyle, one full-time staff would remain in place, as well as part-time, on an as needed basis.
