Commercial burglary investigations underway in Clovis

Clovis, NM – July 30, 2026 – On July 21st, 2026, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Officers of the Clovis Police Department were dispatched to 200 East 21st Street, Daylight Donuts, for a burglary in progress. On arrival, Officers entered the business, but did not locate anyone inside. The business had been burglarized and Detectives were called to the scene to investigate.
On July 27th, 2026, at about 9:36 p.m., Officers responded to 1717 West 21st Street, Coffee Bistro, for a burglary alarm and discovered the business was burglarized. Detectives responded to this incident to process the scene. Two additional businesses, Llano Self Storage and Siam Bistro both reported break ins prior to the incident at Coffee Bistro and had also been burglarized.
On July 28th, 2026, Detectives of the Clovis Police Department followed up with the businesses in this string of burglaries and were tasked to recover additional information regarding other commercial burglaries. Detectives identified Andrew Stanganelli (35 years of age) as a suspect.
An arrest warrant was drawn up for Andrew Stanganelli on the charges of Burglary and Criminal Damage over $1000.00 for the Daylight Donuts burglary and a search warrant was also executed on his residence. Andrew Stanganelli was taken into custody without incident and has been transported to the Curry County Adult Detention Center. Additional arrest warrants for the burglaries of Bill’s Jumbo Burger, Siam Bistro, Llano Self Storage, and Coffee Bistro were generated and have been served on Andrew Stanganelli.
