CMS student named semifinalist for National Merit Scholarship
Clovis Municipal School District announced that High School Senior, Isaiah Garcia, has been named a semifinalist in the 69th annual National Merit Scholarship Program.
Garcia joined a list of 16,000 high school seniors selected as semifinalists, half of which are expected to win a National Merit Scholarship, with nearly $28 million in funds slated for award in the spring.
Semifinalists must complete several requirements to attain finalist standings and those selected will be announced in February.
