CMS SELECTS FINALISTS FOR NEXT SUPERINTENDENT
CLOVIS (KSMX) – Wednesday night Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education selected three finalists for its superintendent position. Among the finalists, the board selected Deputy Director of Federal Programs for CMS, Renee Russ. According to the Eastern New Mexico News, the other finalists includes Rebecca Benedict and Gerry Washburn. The vote was 4 to 1. The school board has announced they will be conducting an executive session Saturday where they will be interviewing the potential candidates. The board hopes to announce a new superintendent to replace Jody Balch by April 23rd.
