CMS AND CLOVIS CITY COMMISSION TO HOLD MEETINGS
CLOVIS (KSMX) A few meetings taking place this week in Clovis. First, the Clovis Municipal Schools Board of Education is set to meet tomorrow evening at 5:30. During their meeting, the board will discuss the Clovis Middle School Initiative, Human Resources matters and Instructional Matters. The meeting is set to take place at the Schools. Next, the Clovis City Commission will be holding their regular meeting on Thursday. Prior to the meet, the commission will hold an executive session at 4:30p.m., where the only topics of discussion will be the acquisition or disposal of real property pursuant to limited personnel matters. The commission will then meet regarding the approval for the City of Clovis to be the fiscal agent for any 2019 Capital Outlay Funds that are received by the Food Bank of Eastern New Mexico during the 2019 New Mexico Legislative Session, and the request for approval of purchase and installation of a radar solar speed sign to be placed on Echols Avenue. Commissioners will also hear an update regarding the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The meeting of the Clovis City Commission will be held at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday at the Library North Annex.
