Clovis teen dropped off at hospital with gunshot wounds

CLOVIS (KSMX)- Clovis police are investigating after an 18-year-old male was shot multiple times Wednesday morning.

According to officials, at about 8:45 a.m., officers responded to a shots fired call in the 2300 block of Robles. While officers were en route, dispatch relayed information that a caller said they were taking a person to Plains Regional Medical Center.

18-year-old Terrance Abeyta was dropped off at PRMC with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and leg.

Abeyta was not cooperative with the Clovis Detevives who were enlisted to assist with the investigation. Officers and detectives are actively investigating the scene of the incident.
