Clovis Schools continue Grab and Go meals

CLOVIS (KSMX)- Clovis Municipal Schools will continue to provide school-aged children free, Grab & Go breakfast and lunch for the remainder of the 2019 – 2020 academic year.

These meals are accessible Monday – Friday, excluding the upcoming Spring Holiday (April 10), at all elementary, middle, and secondary schools in the District with the exception of the iAcademy. To accommodate meals for the Spring Holiday, an extra breakfast and lunch will be provided to students on Thursday, April 9.

Please note, meals will be distributed on the previously scheduled Parent/Teacher Conference Day, Wednesday, April 15.

Menus will be posted at www.clovis-schools.org.

Due to meals being distributed in response to the school closure, we are unable to make special dietary accommodations. Families are encouraged to review menus in advance in order to make informed decisions regarding specific needs children may have.

Families with funds remaining on their child’s school lunch account:

  • If your student/s will attend a school in the Clovis Municipal School district next year, your balance can be carried over and will be available for the 2020 – 2021 school year.

If your child will not attend a school in the district or you require a refund, we will announce how refunds can be requested at such time as current state health orders are eased or lifted.

To receive meals:

  • Students do not have to go to the school they attend to participate, so they may access the school site most convenient to them.
  • Students must be present to receive a meal.
  • All school cafeterias, with the exception of the iAcademy at Lincoln-Jackson, will be open for food

    pick-up for anyone 18 and under from 8 – 11 a.m.
