CLOVIS SCHOOL OFFICIALS ANNOUNCE GRADUATION

CLOVIS (KSMX) – In other news from Clovis High School, officials are already eyeing the graduation ceremony coming up in May. The commencement will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 6 PM, at the Curry County Events Center. The district is putting the word out early regarding the assistance from the public to ensure the ceremony is conducted in a dignified manner. According to a press release from the Clovis Municipal Schools, noisemakers including air horns, cow bells, and whistles will not be permitted in the venue and their use is prohibited. Also, the district is warning about bringing beach balls, balloons, confetti or other related items at the ceremony are prohibited. The Curry County Events Center will open their doors to the public on the 18th at 4 PM, and invitations to the Clovis graduation are not required. Graduating seniors will need to be at the Events Center no later than 4 PM.
