Clovis police seek man wanted in homicide
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Friday at about 10:20 p.m., Officers of the Clovis Police Department were dispatched to the 1300 block of West 8th Streets for a shots-fired.
Upon arrival, at the steps to a residence, Officers encountered a male who had no signs of life. The victim has been identified as William Romero, 28.
The Clovis Police Department Special Operations Unit and the Major Crimes Unit were activated to investigate this incident.
During the course of the investigation, Steven Hogues, 34, was identified as the suspect of the homicide.
There is an active arrest warrant for Steven Hogues on an open count of Murder.
