CLOVIS POLICE SEEK KIDNAPPING SUSPECT

Friday morning a City of Clovis Landfill employee was approached by a 20-year-old male who stated he had been shot. According to a release from the Clovis Police Department, dispatch directed officer and Emergency medical services to respond to the landfill. Upon arrival, officers noted the victim had an apparent gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center and late transferred to a Lubbock hospital.

Detectives with the Clovis Police have been assigned to the incident. Throughout the investigation, a suspect was identified as 31-year-old Carlos Sanchez-Trillo. An arrest warrant has been issued for Kidnapping, Aggravated Battery, Assault with Intent to Commit a Violent Felony and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
