CLOVIS (KSMX)- The Clovis Police Department will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and DWI saturation patrols in January.
DWI Checkpoints will be conducted on January 10, and January 24, and officers will be specifically targeting alcohol and drug-impaired drivers.
“Start the new decade off right. If you are going to drink, please, don’t drive. Have a designated driver, make plans ahead of time. The ENDWI Campaign was created by the New Mexico Department of Transportation in an effort to reduce the number of drunk-driving related crashes and fatalities on our New Mexico roadways. For more information on ENDWI, you can visit their website at www.endwi.com.”
