CLOVIS POLICE DEPARTMENT CONDUCTING OPEN [PHYSICAL FITNESS TESTS
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Clovis Police Department will be conducting the physical fitness portion of Police Officer Testing this Saturday at 9 am at the Clovis High School track and field. Lt. Darren Roach had commented that there was a change in the administering of the fitness of portion of the testing in January, by making every last Saturday of each month open to applicants and to anyone who might be interested in that career choice.
NM has seen a shortage in the number of police officers and Roach says there seems to be more success with the open testing approach. When applicants for the
Portales Police Department come through, Similar to the Clovis Police Department, PPD announces a specific time and place for that applicant as well as anyone who wishes to participate and apply after.
