CLOVIS PD WARNING OF SCAM
The Clovis Police Department has received several reports from residents that have received calls saying they are holding members of their family hostage. According to their social media page, none of the claims have been verified. The Department notes that the type of action is typically conducted by criminal enterprise groups who are looking to find a person who does not question the validity of the information. If you receive one of these calls, please report it to the Clovis Police Department.
