CLOVIS PD REMINDS DRIVERS TO TAKE CAUTION IN SCHOOL ZONES
This week, the Clovis Municipal School District is preparing for the transition of elementary school students in grades K -5, from remote learning to Hybrid Learning. The projected start for Hybrid learning is September 28th. The Clovis Police Department is reminding motorists to be very aware of school zones, as more children will be going to school, increasing the number of children walking to and from school and the number of parents dropping them off. With the long break the children have had, it may be difficult to readjust to flashing lights and lower speed limits. Clovis PD will be increasing patrols and enforcement in school zone areas.
