Clovis native and Rodeo Champion honored by community
Media Release, City of Clovis:
Local Tie Down National Champion, 17 year old Kyan Wilhite, was recognized for his outstanding accomplishments at the City Commission meeting on August 24th, which was also marked as “Kyan Wilhite Day”.
The Chamber of Commerce/Clovis Economic Development along with several outstanding local sponsors held a celebration afterwards at K-Bob’s Steakhouse.
Our community is incredibly proud of Kyan, here’s a few of our champions’ recent accomplishments: Joe Beaver Super Star Roping Champion; the National High School Finals Qualifier (Texas); Texas State Tie Down Champion (THSRA); National High School Tie Down Champion (NHSRA) and he is the Cinch WCIR World Champion Tie Down Roper!
