Clovis Economic Development Corporation receives Wells Fargo Foundation Grant

CLOVIS, N.M. Clovis Economic Development Corporation (CED) is pleased to announce that it has received a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation for the fourth consecutive year to support the operations of its business incubator program.

This marks a total of $40,000 in grant funding from the Wells Fargo Foundation over the past four years, reflecting an ongoing commitment to supporting entrepreneurship, small business growth, and economic opportunity in rural communities such as Clovis and eastern New Mexico.

The continued support will help CED provide local entrepreneurs and emerging businesses with the resources, guidance, and support needed to start, grow, and succeed. By investing in CED’s business incubator program year after year, the Wells Fargo Foundation is helping strengthen the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, encourage business development, and create opportunities for long-term economic growth and job creation.

CED’s business incubator program provides startups and small businesses with tools designed to support their success, including affordable office space, mentorship, business development assistance, and connections to funding and other resources. These services are especially important in rural communities, where entrepreneurs may have fewer opportunities to access the capital, expertise, and support networks available in larger metropolitan areas.

Through this support, the Wells Fargo Foundation has demonstrated a sustained commitment to CED’s mission and to helping entrepreneurs and small businesses contribute to a stronger, more resilient economy in Clovis and eastern New Mexico.
