Clovis City Crews to pick up Debris from 05/24/23 Storm

CLOVIS, NM, From the City Manager’s Office

Clovis City crews will be picking up fallen tree limbs and other debris throughout the city of Clovis. They ask that any debris in residential lawns be placed on the property’s curb so that the crews may retrieve it. The Clovis Airport is working as quickly as possible to clear runaways for upcoming flights. The City Building Safety Department also asks that people ensure that contractors are properly licensed.

“City of Clovis crews will be out to pick up tree limbs and debris throughout the day today at residential properties. Please place all yard waste on your property’s curb, not in the alley, to ease truck routes and access All City departments and services are open for normal business hours. The Clovis Regional Airport is working to clear the runways, passengers can check their flight status and potential delays by calling (866) 373-8513. As a result of the damage caused to area residences and businesses following the recent storm, the City of Clovis Building Safety Department would like to remind area residents and business owners to ensure the contractor they hire is licensed through the state. If the contractor is completing a full/half roof repair they should also have obtained a permit from the City of Clovis.
