CLOVIS (KSMX) – When Clovis City commission meets Thursday, they’ll consider declaring a disaster following the recent windstorm. That designation is part of the process of securing state and federal relief money. For about eight hours, the city was blasted with winds of 50 miles per hour or more. They’re also expected to play for a justice assistance grant of about 198 thousand dollars for the Region Five drug task force. The commission will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the North Annex of the Library.
