CLOVIS CITY COMMISSION APPROVES TWO PROJECTS
CLOVIS (KSMX) – The Clovis City Commission held its first meeting of the new year last night. During the meeting, commissioners unanimously approved a software expenditure of nearly 130-thousand dollars for the Clovis Area Transit System. A company called Ecolane USA will install the software, which will allow passengers to book rides online or through a smartphone app, with the city able to monitor the activity in real time. Commissioners also unanimously approved a 54-thousand-dollar expenditure to Argus Consulting to design the new mobile fuel island at Clovis Municipal Airport. The money will come out of a fund that was already set aside to pay for the project.
