CLOVIS AREA TRANSIT SYSTEM HOSTS OPEN HOUSE EVENT
CLOVIS (KSMX) The Clovis Area Transit System (CATS) will be holding an Open House event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, the at Friendship Center.
The Open House will include the opportunity to tour a bus, on-site rider profile set up, online scheduling demonstrations, and more.
CATS operates a reservation-based, demand-response transportation system in Clovis. Passengers can ride anywhere in town for a one-way fare of 75 cents. When patrons schedule their trips in advance, the system can group trips which results in the best use of staff, vehicles, and funding.
CATS annually provides an average of 68,000 trips and travels 215,000 miles within the City of Clovis.
