Clovis AFROTC program will lay more than 1,000 wreaths on the graves of local veterans
CLOVIS (KSMX)- The Clovis High School AFJROTC will lay 1,531 wreaths on the graves of local veterans Saturday, in an effort to assist the Gold Star Mothers with their Wreaths Across America campaign.
The community is invited to join the Clovis High School AFJROTC at 10 a.m. Saturday, for the wreath laying ceremony at Lawnhaven Cemetery.
This is not a fundraiser for JROTC, it is a community service project with the purpose of remembering those who have sacrificed defending our freedom and country; honoring those men and women who currently serve to protect our Nation.
