CITY OF PORTALES TO RENOVATE WATER STORAGE TANKS
PORTALES (KSEL) – The City of Portales is currently renovating the water storage tanks and they need your help. Next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the city will turn off the wellfield to allow the contractors to work.
Water outages are not expected but they are asking the community to restrict water use to essentials only on these days. They are asking that you do not wash laundry, water yards, wash cars, or fill pools during those three days.
This is an important project for the community of Portales that requires your continued help over the coming months as there may be additional days with restricted water use. For additional information, please call 575.356.6662, option 5.
