City of Portales posts watering schedule
PORTALES (KSEL)- Due to this year’s drought, the City of Portales has posted watering schedules for residents in its effort for water conservation in the area.
Residents are asked to adhere to the following watering schedule:
- Odd Number Addresses: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
- Even Number Addresses: Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
No watering will be allowed Monday or between 10 am – 6 pm daily.
The City will be reevaluating the wellfield and water demand daily, which will determine the level of water restrictions required.
