CITY OF CLOVIS ANNOUNCES VACANCIES ON BOARDS AND COMMITTEES
CLOVIS (KSMX) – The City of Clovis announced a number of vacancies on various boards and committees. One representative is being sought from the Hotel Industry to serve on the Lodger’s Tax Advisory Board, which meets quarterly at 5:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month. Two representatives are being sought to serve on the Civic Center Policy Board, that meets quarterly and makes recommendations to the Clovis City Commission regarding the Civic Center. The Senior Services Committee from District 2 and District 4 is in need of two representatives. One resident that resides inside Clovis city limits is being sought to serve on the Civil Aviation Board, that meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the Month. There are three vacancies on the Economic Incentive Board for residents from District 1, 2 and 3. Finally, the Public Works Committee is seeking two representatives from Districts 2 and 3. For questions regarding these boards or committees, or to obtain an application form, please contact the City Manager’s Office. Applications will be received until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15th.
