Chip Seal scheduled on Southfork and CR 8 from US-70 to CR G
Expect closures from August 28 -30 in Curry County.
Media Release, Curry County Road Department:
Southfork project will begin Monday, August 28th, this project will take no more than one (1) day to complete. The area will be congested. Curry Road 8 project will begin on Tuesday, August 29th, we will begin at US70 and work going East. This project will take two days to complete. We will have to close different sections of this roadway at a time while we are working that area.
We are asking all persons to PLEASE SEEK AN ALTERNATE ROUTE. Area residents are encouraged to schedule activities to minimize use of these roads for 3-4 hours after the surfacing is applied.
We know that everyone is anxious to have these roads completed, but please help us during these times by keeping the roads clear so this process may be completed in a timely manner. Thank you for your assistance during this time.
