Children’s water bottles recalled
Millions of children’s water bottles are being recalled due to a choking hazard.
Contigo announced about 5.7 million water bottles are being recalled because the spout could detach and be a choking hazard to children.
The water bottles were previously recalled in August of 2019.
Consumers are being asked to contact Contigo for a free water bottle.
Consumers who received replacement lids in the previous recall should contact Contigo for a new water bottle as well, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The water bottles were sold at Costco, Walmart, and Target.
A total of 427 reports of the spout detaching have been received by the Consumer Product Safety Commission
