Cannon Air Force Commissary will enact new times

CLOVIS (KSMX)- Air Commando Service members, Families and Veterans amidst COVID-19 concerns, the Cannon Commissary is taking measures to enhance social responsibility while still providing the services and savings they strive to give the community.

In a release from Cannon Air Force officials, “these efforts are in keeping with the guidance provided by the 27 SOMSG in coordination with medical professionals at the 27 SOMDG and CDC recommendations”.

Effective immediately everybody’s ID will be checked prior to entry. Only ID cardholders with an active duty military ID, dependent ID or a retiree ID and children will be allowed access.

Beginning Friday, March 20, and until further notice, there will be no more Early Bird hours and the first two hours of operation (from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.) will be reserved for Active Duty military and dependents. Additionally, until further notice, key items (see Commissary employees for a list of key items) will be rationed per family, per day.
