BUS CRASH SENDS MULESHOE CHILDREN TO HOSPITAL
Multiple children north of Muleshoe were sent to the hospital following school bus crash. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety officials, initially two children were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries; ABC7Amarillo reports. Later, a new reported was released noting that approximately 10 children and two vehicle drivers were taken to a Muleshoe hospital. Several children were sent back to school without injuries. The incident occurred Monday afternoon about five miles north of Muleshoe. Preliminary investigation shoes that the bus was traveling north when it was preparing to turn west. At that time a truck behind the bus attempted to pass the bus, as the driver of the bus was turning. No charges have been filed, and the incident is still under investigation.
