BODY OF WOMAN FOUND INSIDE CAR OUTSIDE DIMMITT RESIDENCE
DIMMITT, Texas (KSMX) — The Texas Rangers are assisting the Dimmitt Police Department with the investigation after a 42-year-old woman was found dead in a vehicle on Monday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, at about 7:20 p.m., Dimmitt Police officers found 42-year-old Raquel Salinas of Dimmitt was found deceased inside a vehicle behind a vacant residence in Dimmitt.
The cause of death has not been determined.
Salinas’ body will undergo an autopsy in Lubbock.
