BNSF RAILROAD TESTING AND ROAD WORKS
PORTALES (KSEL)- The Portales City Police Department has notified Administration that BNSF Railroad will hold 4 trial runs at 49 miles per hour today (05/07/2019) starting around 9 a.m. This notice will be on the Police Department’s Facebook page and the City’s Facebook page will have the notice also.
The Portales Public Works Street Department Supervisor has notified Administration that W. University Drive will be closed from Hwy 70 to Avenue O – 9am to 11am on Thursday, May 9th, for road repairs. BNSF Railroad will have a safety person present at the worksite. The detour will be set up sending traffic to Avenue K.
