BLOOD SUPPLY LOW AFTER STORMS, FLU SEASON
NEW MEXICO ( KSMX) – Following the aftermath of last week’s storm, blood supplies are at a critical low in New Mexico, which is leaving blood centers in urgent need of donations. Representative with Vitalant, previously United Blood Services, say many blood drives were cancelled due to the severe conditions. Donations are also down significantly, due to cold and flu season, leaving an even bigger gap in supply. If you would like to donate blood, you can make an appointment, walk into a local blood center, or attend a mobile blood drive.
