BILINGUAL STUDENTS URGED TO GET SEAL ON DIPLOMA

CLOVIS (KSMX) – High school students who are proficient in another language other than English are reminded to get their New Mexico Bilingual Seal on their diploma. Administrators say the seal is good to have so graduating students can show employers they can communicate in more than one language. The New Mexico Bilingual Literacy Seal is a prestigious graduation distinction that proves to employers and colleges you are proficient in another language. The process to earn the seal is rigorous, so students are strongly urged NOT to wait until the last minute. An online application form can be found at the Clovis Schools website.
