August 24th to be recognized as “Kyan Wilhite Day” in honor of World Tie Down Champion
Clovis Mayor Mike Morris has announced August 24th as “Kyan Wilhite Day” in honor of the local teen who holds the 2023 National Tie Down Champion Title.
The Curry County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to an event to celebrate Kyan Wilhite and his accomplishments on Thursday, August 24th, at KBOBs steakhouse, from 6 to 9 pm.
Wilhites accomplishments include: Joe Beaver Super Star Roping Champion, Texas State Tie Down Champion, National High School Tie Down Champion, and Cinch WCIR World Champion Tie Down Roper, among others.
The event will feature a meet and greet with Wilhite, food, and live music.
