ARREST MADE IN INVESTIGATION OF THE FATAL SHOOTING OVER THE WEEKEND
On Monday May 17th, Shona Williams, age 34, was charged with Open Count Murder and Tampering with Evidence regarding the May 14th 2021 shooting incident involving the death of Quintasha Harris, age 38. Friday evening, at approximately 5:33 pm, shortly after police personnel were called to an address on 600 block of 17th Lane; a gunshot victim, a young female was reported to be found on the scene and was sent to Roosevelt General Hospital.
After arriving at RGH the young lady, later identified as Quintasha Harris, was pronounced dead. The investigation is still on going, an any further questions can be directed towards the district attorney’s office.
