Archbishop to celebrate Mass of the Rite of Admission to candidacy for Holy Orders

Most Reverend John C. Wester, Archbishop of Santa Fe, will gather with Very Reverend Glennon Jones, Vicar General, Reverend Arian Sisneros, Vocations Director Reverend Tai Pham, Associate Vocations Director, guest priests, deacons, and seminarians from the Archdiocese of Santa Fe to celebrate the Mass of the Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders. Four dedicated seminarians, Rico Landavazo, John Paul Langsfeld, Ryan Stoer, and Michael Villavicencio, will take a significant step forward in their spiritual journey.
The Mass will take place Saturday, August 19 at 10 a.m. at the Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
This event marks a pivotal moment in the lives of these aspiring candidates, as they are officially admitted to candidacy for Holy Orders within the Roman Catholic Church. The Rite of Admission to Candidacy is a significant milestone on their path toward becoming ordained priests for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe.
Following the Mass, a reception will be hosted by the Women’s Guild Ministry of Risen Savior, providing an opportunity for congregation members and supporters to congratulate and share their best wishes with the seminarians. All are welcome.
