APPREHENSION OF TWO WANTED SUBJECTS IN CLOVIS
CLOVIS (KSMX)- Officers of the Clovis Police Department worked with members of the Region V Task force responded to the area for an attempt to locate a wanted subject. Officers had spent several days attempting to locate Alfonso Rodriguez (39), wanted for aggravated assault and outstanding warrants from De Baca County.
Undercover officers in the area were able to positively identify Alfonso Rodriguez and as a result he was successfully apprehended in the parking lot of the Chevron Gas Station located on Prince St, in Clovis. Rodriguez was taken into custody for the outstanding warrants and taken to the Curry County Adult Detention Center where he has been booked.
A second male identified as Daniel Harrison (38) was also contacted by officers during this incident. Daniel Harrison had outstanding warrants for his arrest and was found to be in possession of a firearm and methamphetamine. Harrison has been arrested for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a stolen firearm. Harrison was armed with a handgun that had been previously reported stolen.
