ANOTHER LOCAL BANK HIT WITH A ROBBERY

On Monday, June 27, 2022, at around 12:35 p.m., Clovis Police responded to 2501 N. Prince, US Bank, for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with employees and customers at the bank, all of whom were physically unharmed during the incident. The suspect, who matched the description of the suspect involved in the Washington Federal Bank robbery located at 2720 N. Prince St. from June 17th, came into the bank with a plastic bag, approached tellers, and demanded the money from their tills. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and left in a black SUV. At this time, the Federal Bureau of Investigations along with the Clovis Police Department are jointly working on this incident. The Clovis Police Department requests that any person having information related to this incident, contact the Clovis Police Department at 575-769-1921.

The investigation into this robbery is still ongoing and Clovis PD is still trying to process the digital media recovered from this incident. As the media is reviewed, we will post better screenshots of the suspect and of the vehicle he was observed driving.
