ACCELERATION AND DECELERATION LANES ON NM 218 IN LEA COUNTY

LEA COUNTY (KSMX)- The New Mexico Department of Transportation District Two will require single-lane closures on N.M. 128 at mile marker 30 in Lea County to accommodate permit work by Owl Landfill Services LLC.

Work will include an acceleration and deceleration lane on N.M. 128 west of Jal. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution, watch for flaggers, and obey all traffic control signage.

The project is expected to be completed this winter.
