A TEXAS MAN REPORTED MISSING OVER THE WEEKEND HAS BEEN FOUND IN CURRY COUNTY
A man reported missing in Texas Friday night was discovered deceased in Curry County on Saturday, according to the Levelland Police Department.
On 06/12/2021 at approximately 9:00pm authorities with the Curry County Sheriff’s Department (Clovis New Mexico) received a tip from a concerned citizen regarding an unoccupied vehicle on the side of a dirt road. The vehicle was confirmed to be that of Greg Balboa, age 23. Deputies searched the surrounding area in attempts to locate Greg but were unable to. It was believed at the time that Greg may be in Clovis New Mexico or surrounding areas.
On 06/14/2021 Mr. Balboa’s body was located in an undisclosed location in the county by Deputies in Curry County NM. The Levelland Police, Curry County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Rangers are continuing with the investigation. Levelland police did not release the cause of death, but told KCBD in Lubbock no foul play was suspected.
