82-YEAR-OLD KILLED IN PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT
CLOVIS (KSMX) – The Clovis Police Department is investigating a tragic crash involving a pedestrian. It happened in the 1000 block of Thornton Street just before 6pm on Monday. A statement from the Clovis Police Department says that officers arrived and found 82-year-old Angel Solis-Loya laying on the ground in the roadway. The elderly woman was rushed to Plains Regional Medical Center, where she later died of her injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured and is said to be cooperating with the investigation.
