1ST CONFIRMED CASE OF MEASLES IN NEW MEXICO SINCE 1994
STATEWIDE (KSMX)- Department of Health authorities have confirmed that a one-year old child in Sierra County is the first person to have contracted measles in New Mexico in over four years. Measures have been taken to ensure that anyone who was exposed to the child is fully tested.
There have been 830 confirmed cases of measles in 23 states and has been reported to be the greatest number reported since 1994.
