VACUUM SALESMAN SENTENCED IN CSP CASE
CLOVIS (KSMX) – A vacuum salesman that was found guilty of CSP, was sentenced to serve for that crime today. 29-year-old Brandon Barron of Albuquerque, was sentenced to three years for the third-degree felony. Barron was found guilty back in November of last year. The crime stems from March of 2017 when the victim reported that a Kirby Vacuum salesman, later confirmed via DNA evidence to be Barron, had sexually assaulted her in her home. An exam showed injuries consistent with the assault. The Honorable Judge Fred Van Soelen presided over the sentencing hearing, noting the court had noticed Barron’s lack of remorse for the violation. The Court also sentenced Barron to register as a lifetime sex offender and upon
release from prison to serve sex offender parole for 5 – 20 years.
