PRUITT SENTENCED FOR 8TH DWI CASE
CLOVIS (KSMX) – Ninth Judicial District Attorney Andrea Reeb announced today the 55-year-old Randall Pruitt of Clovis was sentenced for his 8th DWI conviction. Pruitt was found guilty back in December of last year. The Honorable Fred Van Soelen imposed the maximum sentence of twelve years in prison and told Pruitt that he was sentencing him “because he was a threat to society, himself and others.” The judge read off the list of seven prior DWI convictions going back to 1990. Pruitt’s driver’s license will be revoked for life and upon release from prison he will serve two years on parole.
