Fatal shooting in Clovis under investigation

Clovis, NM – On June 29, 2026, at approximately 11:06 p.m., Clovis Police Department Dispatch received an emergency telephone call regarding a vehicle that had crashed into a home at 14th and Hull Streets. Clovis Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the scene.
On arrival, Officers located a white in color SUV and a 28-year-old male who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The male was transported to Plains Regional Medical Center and was forwarded to a Lubbock, Texas hospital and has died of his injuries.
Detectives of the Clovis Police Department are investigating this incident.
